Anyone read Freakonomics?
If not you should! It is an amazing book.
It proposes, among other things, that abortion has been one of the most significant crime reducing forces in the past 30 years.
It also predicts a 1 in 4 death rate for crack dealers, making that by far the most dangerous job in the USA! (I always thought it was being a longshore fisherman)
And if you are a parent who owns both a gun and a swimming pool, the swimming pool is 200 times more likely to kill your child than the gun.
Who knew?

I just bought the book, and I bought it b/c I read about 2 pages of it at your house when we went to the beach. I'm excited to read it. First I have to get through Condi v. Hillary and Running with Scissors.
