How Things Work
Welcome to Our Book Club!
Basically how it works is if you want to be involved, you can email Jess P (emailjdp@yahoo.com) and she will send you the username and password for this blog so that you can post your thoughts/comments.
Every month we will pick a book. Feel free to suggest a book if there is one you want to read or are reading. You don't always have to read the book if you don't want to. So our book for January is Roomates by Whitney Lyles. Starting February 1st you can start posting your comments on the book and another book for February will be posted. Then March 1st the comments on the February book can start being posted etc.
Now why are we doing this? Three reasons...
1. By reading the same books and posting comments on the books we have something in common that we are all aware of though some of us don't speak often, we are still in each other's hearts...blah blah mushy stuff blah....so now we are moving on with different places and lives but we still have this one thing in common
2. By reading we are keeping our brains active.
3. Reading is smarter and cooler than watching the same tv shows.

Awwwww. This is awesome! How do I get a password and stuff or by clicking that thing do I get admin. rights?

I think you just click on the thing and get admin rights, but I could be wrong. Let me know if you have trouble. I'm new at figuring this thing out

I actually tried making a yahoo group and the way yahoo works (you probably know this) you would get flooded with emails. every time someome wants to send something to a yahoo group, everyone in the group gets an email. If it's just a blog that everyone uses, you can be as involved as you want to be without it being in your face. In addition..facebook is overrated and people spend too much time on it as it is. This one is already set up. what's wrong with it?
I just picked a quick read for jan b/c it's half over. different people can pick different books each month. there's no law saying one person picks
